The Village Zendo is a Zen Buddhist community in the heart of downtown New York City. Serving as a sanctuary in busy Manhattan, we offer meditation both online and in person, mornings and evenings, in addition to retreats, workshops and study groups. To provide an environment and a way to realize the self and to live a life of compassion and awareness. We do this by offering training, practice and transmission of Zen Buddhism.
