Wanderer's Rest Wanderers Rest Humane Association serves the community by providing the highest quality care and compassion for the lost homeless and surrendered animals of our community while creating highly adoptable animals and educational opportunities in honor of creating a more humane society. When you adopt a pet you provide a loving home to an animal in need reducing the number of homeless pets and easing the burden on shelters. Adoption helps combat the unethical practices of puppy mills and commercial breeding facilities which often prioritize profit over animal welfare. By choosing to adopt you support a humane and sustainable approach to pet ownership ensuring that every animal gets a chance to experience love and care.
