The Canine Crusade has come to an end and all we can say is a huge thank you! It was so much fun to be included in an event like this and even though it was a bit rainy our dogs had an amazing time being able to get out of the shelter and enjoy an entire day getting lots of love and outdoor time. Again, thank you so much to Critter Sitters for hosting this amazing event that didn't just help out our shelter and our dogs but 6 other shelters as well, and of course a big congratulations to all the dogs that found their homes yesterday 🥰 (fb)

Wanderers Rest Humane Association serves the community by providing the highest quality care and compassion for the lost homeless and surrendered animals of our community while creating highly adoptable animals and educational opportunities in honor of creating a more humane society. When you adopt a pet you provide a loving home to an animal in need reducing the number of homeless pets and easing the burden on shelters. Adoption helps combat the unethical practices of puppy mills and commercial breeding facilities which often prioritize profit over animal welfare.
