Update from Kathmandu Nepal On May 22, 5 of our Pastors will leave Pokhara Nepal and fly north thru the Annapurna range to reach Jomsom Nepal. From there they will travel the road north towards Lo Manthang Nepal. Along this 35 kilometer route there are many small villages and a few larger ones (300-400 people). Their goal: To find any Christians living in that area, where they fellowship and if they even have a place to meet. When Padam, Dr Joe and I were there in March it was very evident that the entire area from Jomsom all the way to Lo Manthang is indeed totally unreached. Pray for these 5 men who will survey the area, stopping at each village to find any Christians and then prayerfully determine where we begin our new work in that area. Also, on June 3rd, all of our Pastors from Nepal and all of the students (Now serving in the mountains for 3 months) will all come down to our church and training center in Kathmandu Nepal. For some, it is a 130 Kilometer trek. We expect over 60 pastors and students to attend the event! We will have three fantastic days of prayer, Bible teaching and fellowship! This ‘retreat conference’ will be so helpful to all of the guys. They meet and catch up with each other sharing victories in the faith and also the hardships they all suffer as Pastors in a nearly 100% Hindu country. Pray for the men as they travel and study, learn, pray for three days. That they be refreshed and strengthened by and with God’s Holy Spirit! Thank you Steve, Harris, Padam, Frannie and all the team!
