The Foundation’s mission is to support the Newport News School Board and School Division in their efforts to prepare students to enter the world of work with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to compete successfully in their chosen educational, career, and life endeavors. We are a collaborative and diverse group of philanthropic citizens comprised of leaders from businesses, government, and education who are deeply committed to improving the educational outcomes of our students and preparing them to thrive in an environment full of opportunities to succeed. Our mission binds our leadership expertise to the culture of philanthropy with the goal of enriching the quality of teaching and learning, and strengthening innovation in education through sustained business partnerships.
