Farmers Library Company of the Town of Ogden
The Farmers Library Company of Ogden was founded in 1815 to serve people of all ages in the by providing access to a variety of materials free of charge. The library provides a place where inquiring minds may encounter diverse ideas - sometimes critical, controversial or unorthodox - to stimulate the survival of free competition of ideas. The library keeps abreast of changing community needs and provides programs of service to meet such needs alone and in cooperation with other organizations, agencies and institutions dedicated to encouraging children, young people, men and women to educate themselves continuously.
