Mojave Environmental Educational Consortium – Improving environmental literacy of the Mojave Desert Region Welcome to MEEC. MEEC improves the environmental literacy of students teachers and communities of the Mojave Desert Region by actively providing educational resources. MEEC regularly offers free workshops to demonstrate effective integration of environmental studies into existing curriculum. Our combined mission is to link teachers with high quality environmental education resources to improve the environmental literacy of Californias students.
