Sheba USA's mission is to help new immigrants with their pressing needs, specially empowering immigrant women. The Sheba.usa mission is to assist immigrants, primarily women, with their pressing need to develop language and job skills. http://www.shebausa.org Mission is to help South Asian new immigrants with a special focus on empowering women. Our community research findings discovered that there are significant numbers of South Asian new immigrants facing obstacles getting employment in NYC. In addition, overwhelming numbers of South Asian women are affected by domestic violence. Therefore, our mission is to empower immigrant women in their pressing needs though education, vocational trainings, resources, health care referral services and employment in the local community.
