Join us on April 16th at MacDowell NYC for a deep dive into the evolving world of news media, featuring journalists and collectives redefining storytelling through innovative and interdisciplinary approaches. What new tools do we need to report on the world we live in today? What does successful journalism look like in 2025? Moderated by Sean Buffington (Interim President, Henry Luce Foundation), this discussion with Tristan Ahtone of Grist, Jin Ding formerly of Initium Media, and Lauren Williams of Capital B News will highlight the impact of grassroots media, alternative newsrooms, and initiatives led by Black and BIPOC journalists. Wednesday, April 16, 2025 6:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. MacDowell NYC RSVP required—register now on MacDowell.org/events (fb)
