Since its formation in 1999 Neighborhood Restore has successfully preserved over 10500 units of affordable housing in over 1700 buildings throughout New York City. What is Neighborhood Restore. Neighborhood Restore is a nonprofit organization that oversees a variety of affordable housing development programs that focus on transitioning properties from financial and physical abandonment to third party ownership. In addition to developing and overseeing its own housing programs Neighborhood Restore supports other community development efforts through construction management services technical assistance and homeowner support.
