That’s exactly what Kristen Wells-Lewis, founder of Black to the Lab , is all about. As a chemist, educator, and advocate, Kristen set out to create hands-on STEM kits that are screen-free, culturally relevant, and deeply empowering for young girls. But making a product that’s educational, fun, and safe? That took trial, error, and integrity at every step. “[Made right] means creating products that not only educate but empower.” From choosing partners who share her values to learning the ins and outs of product testing and packaging from the ground up, Kristen is building more than a business: she’s building a movement.
