PAWS' Mission is to end animal cruelty through a spay/neuter program, coupled with educating the public about the fact that animal cruelty is a by-product of animal over-population, and that aggressive spay/neuter initiatives are the only way to halt the needless deaths of millions of animals killed in shelters every year.PAWS works in coordination with the veterinarians in Fredericksburg, Texas to provide spay/neuter assistance for cats and dogs in Gillespie County. PAWS also manages a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) program for free-roaming and feral cat colonies in Gillespie County, Texas.PAWS is a non-profit organization solely run by volunteers.
