The Society of New Concord Welcome toThe Society ofNew Concord Join Us SNC The Society of New Concordwas founded by local families in the Winter of 198283 as a way to recognize continue and promote the community of the Hamlet of New Concord. New Concord was organized as a large geographical entity about 1764 but has been progressively reduced to a smaller area as adjacent towns e. g. Chatham and Canaan have grown.
