ST. MARGARET'S HOUSE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FUND CORPORATION (SMH) PROVIDES HOUSING FOR LOW-INCOME OLDER ADULTS AND MOBILITY IMPAIRED DISABLED PERSONS. OUR BUILDING CONSISTS OF A TWENTY STORY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING WITH 251 APARTMENTS, AND (2) WINGS FOR OUR OCCUPANCY DEPARTMENT AND TENANT/ COMMUNITY EVENTS PROGRAMMING SPACES IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING SENIOR HOUSING SERVICES. WE CONSIDER ST. MARGARET'S HOUSE TO BE AN ACTIVE, POSITIVE COMMUNITY LEADER AND ROLE MODEL THAT BENEFITS OUR TENANTS, STAFF AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. THE HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR ACTIVITIES INCLUDE EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, RECREATION ACTIVITIES, BEING A GOOD NEIGHBOR, SHARING SPACES, BEING A COMMUNITY DESTINATION, KNOWLEDGE BUILDING, AND HOSTING CULTURAL CELEBRATIONS. IN THE PAST YEAR, ST. MARGARET'S HOUSE CONTINUED TO MAKE A POSITIVE AND SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON THE TENTANTS AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY WHILE MAINTAINING A STRONG FINANCIAL POSITION.
