The Canvas of Learning Integration of Art in the School Curriculum Recognizing the profound impact of art in a holistic education model in 2015 Zindagi Trust introduced the subject in its adopted government schools. The comprehensive art program was developed under the direction of Anam Shakil. Building on the success and lessons learned from our model we were able to support the consultative process that enabled art to be integrated in the National Curriculum of Pakistan 20222023 which is now meeting the needs of students across the country. The objective in developing the art program was to cultivate critical thinking problemsolving and creative skills among students.
