All-volunteer EMS and Rescue organization based in Carrboro, NC. TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ALONG WITH TECHNICAL RESCUE SERVICES TO THE ORANGE COUNTY NC COMMUNITY. TO FOSTER HIGH PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND ACTUAL SERVICE BY THE MEMBERSHIP TO THE COMMUNITY FOR THE PROVISION OF EMERGENCY, GENERAL AND TECHNICAL RESCUE SERVICES. SORS SEEKS TO CARRY OUT THESE GOALS BY ORGANIZATION OF THE LOCAL RESIDENTS AND STUDENTS; PROVIDE TRAINING AND COORDINATION SERVICE IN CONJUNCTION WITH ESTABLISHED AGENCIES IN ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA AND THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL.
