It marks both the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai and the wheat harvest with the offering of first fruits (Bikkurim). Traditionally, Jews read the Book of Ruth, decorate homes and synagogues with greenery, and eat dairy foods like cheese and cakes, symbolizing purity. Co-sponsored by the European Union🇪🇺 .🇪 📍 International Training in Albania 🇦🇱 – Makufi As part of the YouthINC project, the training brought together young people from Albania🇦🇱,Kosovo 🇽🇰, Romania 🇷🇴, Hungary 🇭🇺, Germany 🇩🇪, and Israel 🇮🇱 to explore the theme:"Creating Visible and Invisible Heroes." Over two intensive days, participants presented creative projects including research, artistic works, and digital designs honoring local influential figures who have been historically marginalized. The youth exchanged experiences and discussed issues of diversity, inclusion, and social responsibility using interactive tools such as small discussion groups, brainstorming exercises, and experience-sharing sessions. The workshops also included language exchange activities to foster mutual understanding and respect among cultures. The event served as a platform for knowledge exchange, building new relationships, and envisioning a more inclusive and just future led by active and aware youth. We thank all participants and facilitators for their efforts and creativity.
