LIFT Welcome To LIFT Long Island Families Together LIFT was established in 1994 to advocate for families and amplify their voices within the public childrens mental health systems of Nassau and Suffolk Counties. We are a parentcaregiver governed youthguided 501c3 notforprofit organization founded to raise awareness about accessible childrens mental health services on Long Island. The organization collaborates with policymakers and stakeholders who deliver public services to children and families to help shape policy decisions. Through these partnerships LIFT gains valuable insights into programs resources and policies which it shares with Long Island families to guide them in navigating the public childrens mental health system more effectively.
