Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc is leading the fight against poverty through an Asset Based Service Approach With a mission to alleviate poverty through mobilizing resources and creating partnerships to promote empowerment, economic independence, and opportunities, COI was incorporated in 1965 under the auspices of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964. COI fights poverty through the areas of Housing and Community Development, Health and Family Services, Early Care and Education, the Child Care Council, and Economic Development.
