The Southern Tier AIDS Program (STAP) provides supportive services to HIV positive persons and state of the art prevention education in 8 counties in New York. STAP’s vision is that “We work to create a world where HIV transmission is rare and those who are HIV+ lead healthy lives. We cultivate individual and community strengths to improve the public health. Our mission is to compassionately and competently meet the evolving needs of our communities by serving people affected by chronic illness and to improve public health through disease prevention, care coordination and advocacy.
