We had a few new faces from the CKC team attend Mecum Indy for the first time—and what a way to introduce them! From the Ford GT PB2-1 selling for $400,000, to the boomerang pedal car selling three times, this event was packed with energy and generosity. A beautiful leather bag brought in $5,000, and in an incredible moment, Sand Flat Leather offered to donate $10,000 for one of the other bags we were holding—just after the hammer dropped! Longtime supporter Rodgar McCalmon added two more quilts to his amazing CKC quilt collection, and we’re so grateful for the continued support of Dana Mecum, whose generosity makes this all possible. Last year, Dawson stood at the ropes at the Fire Truck Pull with no hair and a big, brave smile.
