GREEN MOUNTAIN ANIMAL DEFENDERS

GMAD

Green Mountain Animal Defenders (GMAD) is a Vermont based 501(c)(3) non-profit animal advocacy organization which has been working to protect the well-being of all animals since 1983. Believing that all animals have intrinsic value and are worthy of protection, we use our statewide network to help animals of all species. We encourage all people to increase their personal level of compassion by promoting humane choices and raising awareness of animal issues through education, advocacy, outreach, and collaboration.GMAD also protects individual animals through direct services such as our foster care network, spay/neuter assistance program, and emergency transport team, as well as by providing expert advice and urging public policy reform on the local, state, and national levels.
