We were delighted to premiere a new work, “When Night Comes,” by Dusty Francis, in our concert earlier this month. Sharing brand new music has become something of a tradition for NYCMC, as we’ve done so in each of our past three seasons, and it was particularly special to join past and present with this work by one of our former Artistic Directors! “When Night Comes” sets a text by Constantine Cavafy, a Greek poet, journalist, and civil servant, and we hope you enjoy our performance of Dusty’s beautiful and stirring piece - the first of many NYCMC concert clips we plan to share leading up to next year’s 20th anniversary season! 💜 (fb)
