We’re still riding high from the beautiful evening we shared in Atlanta on May 4th, 2025. As much fun as we had at Cocktails & Castoffs, the real work is just beginning. . Tackling the complex challenges of climate change, global poverty, and unjust food systems will take all of us. Progress will only happen when we share the work…and maybe a little delicious food too. . For one special evening at Bread & Butterfly, five nationally acclaimed Atlanta chefs joined forces to create a journey of flavors that connects our local stories to our common roots in Africa—where human history and so many of our food traditions began. . Thank you for joining us, Atlanta. (fb)

DIG has always been about empowering local solutions that don’t depend on long-term external aid. We position our farmers, once seen as the most marginalized in their communities, as vital contributors to local resilience. . These cuts have only underscored the importance of DIG’s work. . Many of our farmers have told us that resilience means having enough to share, and they are sharing. In times of need, DIG farmers become part of a safety net for their communities. . During the COVID-19 pandemic, imports ceased and markets faltered, and DIG farmers stepped up. They knew how to grow then, and they now how to grow now. They provide food and support their communities in ways that make all the difference. . Help us ensure they are equipped to meet this moment. . Link in comments to make a donation today (fb)
