THE VINSON-OWEN PARENTS ASSOCIATION WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE FACULTY AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE VINSON-OWEN SCHOOL TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION FOR ALL THE STUDENTS. THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO ENRICH STUDENT EXPERIENCES IN SCHOOL THROUGH ITS SUPPORT AND/OR SPONSORSHIP OF ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY-BUILDING ACTIVITIES. IN KEEPING WITH THE PRINCIPLES AND IDEALS OF THE COMMUNITY, THE ASSOCIATION ALSO DEFINES KEY ISSUES OR CONCERNS TO ADDRESS AND SERVES AS AN ADVOCATE FOR THE PARENTS.
