A powerful night on #Broadway. Following a performance of 𝘙𝘦𝘥𝘸𝘰𝘰𝘥, Hazelden Betty Ford was honored to participate in a moving talkback conversation exploring the urgent need for compassion, connection, and mental health support. Pictured in the top photo (left to right): Dr. Chelsea Clinton, David Wilke, our Vice President and Chief Development Officer, Dr. Chinazo Cunningham, Commissioner of the New York Office of Addiction Services and Supports, and Sean Daniels, the evening’s host and Executive Director of the Recovery Arts Project. Also joining the evening was the incomparable Idina Menzel, whose performance in Redwood Musical brought depth and humanity to the stories that reflect the very heart of our mission—to empower recovery and whole-person healing through love, science, and shared stories. As this extraordinary production concludes its run, we remain committed to advancing conversations around addiction and mental health—on stage, in communities, and across the country.
