Our mission is to honor the essence of the past while building a more equitable present and future through education arts activism and support of the local economy. In the spirit of the Bread and Roses Strike of 1912 the Committee hosts community events throughout the year to support residents ability to both survive bread and thrive roses in addition to coordinating an annual Labor Day festival on the site of the Strike in Lawrence Massachusetts.
