About the organization
- P31 -
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of the Adoptive Parents Committee APC. After nearly 70 years of dedicated service to the adoption community we have made the difficult decision to discontinue our operations. Since 1955 APC has been a beacon of support for adoptive parents across the tristate area. We have provided invaluable resources provided lifelong connections between members and families advocated for humanitarian improvements in the adoption and foster care system educated the public media and members about current adoption and foster care issues and assisted members and legislators on matters of foster care and adoption.
