Now Blackstone, one of the largest private equity companies in the world, wants to control New Mexico's electricity market. New Energy Economy will be asking the tough questions - how will this planned buyout affect New Mexican utility customers and the climate? We won defeating five enabling bills in the 2024 legislative session but the next fight is taking place now at the Water Quality Control Commission where the administration is pushing a rule to enable fracking waste reuse.
