Our primary mission is to help individuals and families in crisis restore hope, reclaim dignity and recover healthy life-skills. LICADD is committed to building healthier communities LICADD's mission is to address the addictive climate of our times by providing initial attention and referral services to individuals, families, and children, through intervention, education, and professional guidance to overcome the devastating effects of alcohol and other substance use disorders. LICADD achieves its mission goals by maintaining a roster of highly credentialed and NYS licensed clinical professionals including Clinical Social Workers, Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselors, Licensed Mental Health Counselors and Prevention Specialists. 10,000 clients a year SAP: 30K students a year EAP: 60K employees a year Appointed Nassau & Suffolk Counties bi-partisan Heroin Prevention Task Force First agency to distribute fentanyl testing strips to reduce teen overdoses.
