On November 24 2024 at 4 00 PM we opened our 49th season with reverent praise. The program featured Johann Sebastian Bachs belovedMagnificat and compositions by two wellknown contemporary British composers Jonathan Doves Kthener Messe and Cecilia McDowallsLaudate. Both Doves and McDowalls compositions pay tribute to and reflect Bachs influences while incorporating modern harmonies and techniques.
