Happy Pride to all of Evergreen’s LGBTQ+ patients, staff, family and friends! Since we first opened our doors in 1983, we’ve been committed to the health and wellness of Western New York’s LGBTQ+ community. We’ve held strong to that mission since then, both during times of progress and during times where the community faced heightened discrimination and attacks on their health and human rights. Today, as the LGBTQ+ community faces new and ongoing challenges, our commitment to both serve and celebrate the community is stronger than ever. Evergreen Health was proud to be a part of the Buffalo Pride Flag Raising today alongside the Stonewall Democrats of Western New York, community partners and elected officials. Rahsaan DeLain, vice president of corporate culture, gave brief remarks at the event and was joined by Evergreen employees attending the event to celebrate the Buffalo Pride kick off!
