Our first wave of summer staff arrived this week just in time to kick off our environmental education program! Students and teachers from a local New England school got hands-on learning about how to care for and protect the world around us. This Memorial Day weekend, we gathered to honor and remember through prayer, song, and community. In the Lutheran tradition, we are called to give thanks for those who laid down their lives for others—a reflection of Christ’s own sacrificial love. From heartfelt devotions and beautiful music led by Pastor Mike Lembke, a wonderful Saturday performance by North River Music, to games, tie-dye, laughter, and lakeside joy, we were reminded of the gift of community and the peace this place brings.
