Last Friday, @consumerreports Reports, WE ACT for Environmental Justice, and @cleanhealthyny met with constituents at Community Board 12 in the Bronx to discuss the importance of the Beauty Justice Act (S2057 Webb / A2054 Glick): a critical piece of legislation that seeks to ban the most harmful chemicals in cosmetics and personal care products sold in New York State. We were joined by Raheem Williams and had an educational conversation about the dangerous health effects of chemicals in consumer products, informed by our panelists.
