The Adopt-A-Book Literacy Foundation mission is to build strong communities where every child is an educated reader promoting life-long literacy. We focus on high-risk students, reluctant readers, and low-literate adults/parents. Special interest is given to students located in inner-city, poor and rural environments with high rates of illiteracy. We believe that everyone deserves equal opportunity to access books to expand their knowledge.
