The Mission of World Aquaculture Fund (WAF), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, is, the "Blue Revolution" to reduce the mortality rate to less than 5%, worldwide, within the next five years, by eradicating childhood Protein Energy Malnutrition (PEM). Fish are the most bountiful and efficient form of animal protein. WAF has developed proprietary technologies to create the highest and hardiest yields of farm fish at the lowest possible cost in the industry. To achieve our goal of a 5% mortality rate and to reduce these chronic health problems, we will provide protein-starved regions of the United States and the world with low cost, high yield development of community owned, and based, self- sustainable and ecologically friendly aquaculture protein systems.
