Hey there, I’m Coco — a gentle soul with a big brain and an even bigger heart! ❤ Not long ago, I was at Orange County Animal Services… and I was scheduled to be euthanized. Yep — my story almost ended before it ever really began. But some amazing rescue humans saw the spark in me and gave me a second chance. Now, I’m safe, learning, and so ready for a forever home of my own. I’m just about a year old and full of love, smarts, and potential. I live for affection, snacks (I mean, who doesn’t?), and chew toys — hand me one and I’ll do my signature “happy trot” as I carry it off like I just won the lottery. I was professionally trained and I know a bunch of cool human words like “sit,” “stay,” “place,” “leave it,” and “touch,” and I have mastered walking on a leash in public because I've heard strolls with your favorite human are the best! I come with a professional trainer ready to provide guidance and tune-ups for my training too! Truth is, I wasn’t shown much of the world before. Life is still pretty new to me — I wasn’t shown much of the world early on, but now I’m learning how to handle big feelings and new experiences like a champ. I do great at the vet (yes, I’m that brave!) and car rides are starting to grow on me too. My crate? Love it. It’s my chill zone. I’m gaining confidence and emotional control every day — I just need someone who’s patient, loving, and willing to guide me with structure, kindness, and plenty of mental stimulation. I’d thrive as your one-and-only pet, in a calm home with older kiddos who understand I’m still figuring out just how big I am. I’m looking for my special human who will help me keep learning and growing with structure, kindness, and lots of encouragement. I'd prefer not to share your love with another pet so you can give me all your love instead! Right now, I’m in boarding waiting to be in a cozy home and for someone to say, “That’s our dog.” I’m ready and waiting for a foster or forever family to scoop me up and show me what it means to finally belong. Hi, I’m Moose — your soon-to-be best friend! 🐾 Once upon a time, I was a lonely puppy left stranded and tied up at a motel in Mississippi. I waited for days, skinny, sore, and covered in burns down my back, hoping someone kind would find me. And guess what? A rescue did! They got me all healed up, so I am full of energy and bursting with love to give. I’m less than a year old, but I’ve already mastered crate life, potty training, learned a bunch (I’m super smart), and made friends with just about every dog and cat I’ve met. I even like kids — though I still have big puppy energy, so I do best with bigger ones who can keep up with my goofy zoomies! I’m up to date on all my shots, neutered, and did I mention I’m devastatingly handsome? I’d be happiest in a home with another playful pup or in an active home. I would love a family that enjoys adventures, belly rubs, playing fetch, and maybe the occasional squeaky toy. But my all time favorite thing to do after getting my energy out is snuggling up in bed or on the couch with you! I also love to snuggle with doggie friends along with you too!
