Celebrating 95 Years as the Experts in the Game and Business of Golf in Connecticut and Western Mass THE FOUNDATION IS A 501(C)(3) CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO FOSTER LOCAL AND REGIONAL AMATEUR GOLF COMPETITION WITH AN EMPHASIS ON JUNIOR GOLF AND TO FURNISH INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS AND PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE GOLFING SKILLS AMONG JUNIOR GOLFERS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS VARIOUS PROGRAMS SERVING UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUTH, SPECIAL OLYMPIANS, VETERANS, AND PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED GOLFERS. BENEFICIARIES FOR SUCH SUPPORT MAY INCLUDE COMMUNITY PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITIES, SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITIES, PUBLIC GOLF COURSES, POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUES, AND SUBURBAN YOUTH PROGRAMS.

Learn More Youth Golf The Junior Golf Association aims to provide the highestlevel golf experience for youth golfers of all skill levels. The Connecticut Section PGA operates five local qualifiers and one subregional qualifier. Players are tested on their skills in Driving Chipping and Putting.
