The mission of Gemini Theater Company is to cultivate creativity, imagination and originality through the performing arts. The vision of Gemini Theater Company is to see that all of our programs promote creativity, imagination and originality, and have a positive effect on the individuals who participate. As an organization, we accomplish this by creating a primary focus on 'the child' and 'the professional artist' and continually strive to strengthen the relationship between them, creating an improved artistic product and stronger audience base. 'The child' includes two major areas, the children who attend our performances and those who participate on stage and behind the scenes. 'The professional artist' includes working theater professionals in our local community who fill key artistic positions in the organization in order to keep our artistic standards high. As our organization grows closer to our goal of becoming a Professional Children's Theater Company, we continually attempt to increase employment opportunities and stipends to 'the professional artist' in order to recruit and attract a talented artistic staff, bring fresh new artistic ideas to each project, and to further our high artistic standards. By strengthening the relationship between 'the child' and 'the professional artist,' we strive to create stable employment opportunities for local artists, a greater appreciation for the performing arts in our youth, cultivate a future theater audience by engaging children at an early age and cultivate strong professional values, decorum and respect in 'the professional artist' of the future.
