COGdesign provides pro bono landscape design services and is a catalyst for the implementation and stewardship of beautiful, safe, and useful public green space COGdesign expands equitable access to green and open spaces through community-focused participatory landscape design. We envision a future where green and open spaces reflect place, history, and culture & promote the health and well being of all people. The Community Outreach Group for Landscape Design (COGdesign) provides pro-bono landscape design services to under-resourced communities in greater Boston with the goal to create together beautiful, resilient, green spaces that meet neighborhood needs. COGdesign is a non-profit service organization which is committed to the principle that all people deserve access to nature, whether it's in the form of an urban pocket park, or a US National Park. COGdesign generates meaningful professional experience for student and practicing landscape designers and creates volunteer opportunities for anyone interested in strengthening communities by creating and improving neighborhood green spaces.
