Holy Family Home and Shelter, Inc.
Change in leadership brought a change in vision and approach to homelessness and poverty. HFHS was created in 2022 in response to the growing need for social services in our community and the surrounding communities. Holy Family Home & Shelter was formed in 1989 through the Sisters of Charity. More than thirty years later, HFHS takes the original foundation and expands into an organization that is involved in all areas of serving those in need. Like the path to homelessness takes many different forms, so do the solutions. solutions are more than just temporary housing and include, education, job skills, supportive housing, and a reintroduction to the community. HFHS has four divisions focused on those needs: HFHS Shelter, Homes Plus, HFHS Homeless Services, HFHS Community
