Thayer Academy Middle School held its third annual Massachusetts Children’s Book Award (MCBA) Book Challenge with recognition by advisory as well as individually. A schoolwide celebration of the event, complete with swag bag prizes for top readers, was held last month, led by Middle School Librarian Blodine Francois. ⁠ ⁠ This year’s challenge was broken down into two divisions: one for fifth and sixth graders and a second for seventh and eighth graders. ⁠ ⁠ The sixth grade advisory of Ms. Noone earned the top spot in the first division, followed closely by the sixth grade advisory of Mr. Toussaint.
