A coalition focused on #healthcare, uniting employers around common issues, and improving patient experiences and outcomes for Minnesotans. The Buyers Health Care Action Group DBA Minnesota Health Action Group is a coalition of public and private employers working to recreate the health care system to focus on a collective goal of optimal health and total value. BHCAG develops purchaser strategies and seeks out consumer information tools that promote a safe, timely, efficient, effective, equitable and patient-centered health care system.

- Minnesota Health Action Group Action Group Board and Members Vote to Dissolve the Organization The Action Group announced on June 29 2020 that the organization will dissolve effective at the end of September. While The Action Groups Board of Directors and members retained a strong commitment to the mission ongoing financial pressures exacerbated by COVID19 led to the shared decision to dissolve. We entered 2020 with a fresh outlook and new strategic plan but like many nonprofit and forprofit businesses COVID19 had a significant and unexpected negative impact on our members that we were not able to overcome said Mamie Segall president and CEO.
