Allow us to reintroduce the Comtesse 🎀🩵 Often referred to as the Frick's "poster girl" (and indeed, she currently appears on street banners around our Fifth Avenue home), Ingres's "Louise, Princesse de Broglie, Later the Comtesse d'Haussonville" is one of the most famous portraits amid a collection renowned for its portraiture. Pictured here is the iconic work on view in the Walnut Room, on the museum's newly opened second floor.
