BIRTHDAY MEMORIES GIGI JOYCE BOHJ Today remembers and celebrates our Visionary and Founder Joyce Muchechetere birthday in absentia. She would be turning 85 today 1/30/24. This fearless, incredible dreamer, faith filled, go getter, was unstoppable. Noone could deter her from this vision as she believed she was on a God given assignment to rescue the orphaned and vulnerable children God led her way. "Where He leads, He will provide" was her mantra. Per Virginia Hatt her friend and Co-Founder of BOHJ "what a treasure when a life is fully given to loving Jesus, singing His praises and loving His people without reservations. How blessed we are to have known her and to be involved in carrying on the BOHJ work" impacting so many hundreds of children's lives over 17years. Her impact is still being felt a decade after God called her home. Children's lives under BOHJ program continue to be transformed. Beautiful stories of transformation are experienced year after year. Some of the children went as far as Undergraduate, Masters and one in PHD programs. All this being made possible by her faithful friends and partners who continue to make this dream a reality and a faithful Board that steers this ship and make sure all resources are accounted for with integrity. Thank you all, you know yourselves 🙏🙏. We couldn't do this without your support. Her story is so beautiful, full of faith and trust. One desire she had before she was called home was to build a haven for some of the children without safe places to call home. Though the vision tarried, God in His perfect timing makes all things beautiful. 2024 is the Year!!
