The Paine House is the site of Coventry RI's first town meeting in 1741. Museum operated by the Western Rhode Island Civic Historical Society open May - October Owned and operated by The Western Rhode Island Civic Historical Society. A former Colonial home and Inn, restored and furnished in the period-style. Open seasonally from May through November for house tours and public events.
