The museum is for education, research and display of the rich military history of the area. Its collection of military memorabilia includes artifacts from every branch of military service such as uniforms, medals, documents, letters, books, photographs, flags, weapons, etc. donated by local veterans and their families. The Museum provides research opportunities for military historians, educational opportunities for local students to learn about military history and a place for veterans and their families to reflect back on an impressionable part of their time in the military.
