The goal of Habitat for Humanity of Northwest CT is to build/rehabilitate homes in Falls Village/Canaan, Cornwall, Norfolk, N. Canaan, Salisbury, & Sharon. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people from all faiths and walks of life to work together in partnership, building houses with families in need.

Through Shelter We Empower For 34 years Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Connecticut has participated in working to build stronger communities helping families achieve strength stability and selfreliance through shelter in CanaanFalls Village Cornwall Norfolk North Canaan Salisbury Sharon and Torrington. We treasure our volunteers donors from the past and present and those who work with us to create lasting impact for hardworking local families. Without our wonderful community we could not provide the opportunity of affordable home ownership and help families to achieve their dreams of a brighter future.
