From now until September 1, visit the The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston's Watershed Gallery to see two signature, large-scale installations created by artist Chiharu Shiota, her first solo presentation in New England! The exhibition, "Chiharu Shiota: Home Less Home," is named after her newly commissioned installation, "Home Less Home" (2025). From ICA Boston's website: "In her awe-inspiring installations, Chiharu Shiota (born 1972 in Osaka, Japan; lives and works in Berlin) foregrounds stories of migration, home, connection, memory, and consciousness. Using line in the form of string, Shiota creates immersive installations that underscore human connection and experience." (fb)
