Today, we shared an incredible announcement with our boys and girls golf teams. Thanks to the generosity of distinguished alumnus Robert “Bob” Dugan ’71, La Salle will be building an indoor golf center this summer! The Bob & Susan Dugan ’71 Golf Training Center will feature two simulator bays and a putting green, giving our student-athletes a state-of-the-art space to train year-round. Mr. Dugan, a standout golfer at La Salle and former Diocesan Champion who went on to play at Holy Cross, reminded our students that "When it comes to golf, there are no refs. You call the rules on yourself. It is a game of integrity, and if you play golf, you learn how to be a person of integrity with anything you go on to do in life." A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Dugan, President and CEO of Thor Guard, a lightning prediction system that has helped protect people at golf courses, stadiums, and outdoor venues for over 50 years. His vision and generosity will support generations of Cadet golfers to come. (fb)
