GCS is a nationally accredited, non-profit early childhood center for children ages 2 through 7. Groton Community School is an early childhood center committed to interacting with each child as a unique individual and dedicated to giving each child and his/her family the most positive first school experience. Our programs offer hands-on opportunities to explore and discover the world, and welcome self-expression and creative thinking. Children make real choices in an atmosphere of acceptance and cooperation. We help children succeed in intellectual, creative, and social endeavors, being aware of their need for love, belonging, guidance, and respect. Our curriculum meets the needs and interests of the whole child, addressing individual learning styles and multiple intelligences.
